This is personally one of the best animations I have ever seen. I remember when I first watched it as a 14 year old, it was absolutely awesome and I watched it more than ten times during a short period of time back then.
There is so much symbolism in this story and it has the ability to blow your mind the first time you see it. Despite the number of years that have passed since I first watched it, it still feels great when I watch it today.
The animation is outstanding, the storyline is intriguing as it is original, and one of my wish is that everyone gets to watch this movie at least once in their lifetime.
This is one of the most beautiful movies I have ever watched. I’m in love with Studio Ghibli’s movies and this is one of my favourites. A bit too complicated to watch with younger children, but my siblings loved it all the same. The animations are just stunning and the whole crazy world that the makers have created is both insane and engaging.
From bath houses and dragons to caretakers and pigs, this movie has got it all. After losing her parents to a horrid curse, 10-year-old Chihiro plans to work until she can discover a way to bring them back. Meeting so many friends along the way, the young girl learns all about the culture and hierarchy of the ghost community she is stuck in, seeing there is more to life than what she thought.
