As Marvel films go, this is up there with the best. A twist in the story with some new exciting ventures and characters in the mix.. for Marvel fans it’s a must.. and watch the very end ?
I thought the story was a bit lame and just making it for the sake of another marvel really. Some will like the action
Marvel just keep banging out these quality films. This is up there.
Badass movie!
Amazing film. Wonder if this is the start to a new Avengers film in 3-4 years time? The ten rings have been around since Iron Man. Brilliant action sequences and you do get deep into this new superhero.
Awesome addition. Lot's more to come!
After Avengers Endgame which nicely rounded off the Infinity Saga as they are now calling it, I wasn't sure I was ready to start 'Phase 4' and began to wonder if the MCU was done for me. So I had no expectations or anticipation for Shang-Chi, in fact I was even considering giving it a miss and moving on to other interests. But I thought, why not take the risk and give it a shot, after all, Marvel had managed to keep things fresh and dynamic for 20 odd films, who knows, they could pull it off again.
The film was surprisingly much better than I expected, it was fresh, dynamic. The film had enough fight scenes to justify it as a 'Kung-Fu' Movie, the family elements typical of a Disney Teen movie and the spectacular choreographed CGI action you would expect from a Marvel super-hero movie. It;'s an all round entertaining film that, like the other MCU films are rooted in and built around character and relationships - even though you might think it's about saving the world or defeating some villain or overpowering threat.

Will have to watch again to work out if in my top three which were Civil War, Black Panther and Iron Man. It was bloody entertaining and you will come out of the cinema with a big smile on your face. A few clues to what is coming and boy do they have stuff planned for us!!
Quite a film I can tell you! Most will get excited after watching so it's important to calm down a little before giving an honest opinion.
It is very good. Not quite Black Panther level but very good. The actual highlight is the mid credits in my opinion, believe me it's worth getting to if you don't normally watch them as it gives a flavour on what is to come.
There is plenty of "typically standard" good versus evil back story to Shang-Chi and a great surprise that will possibly get you watching Iron Man 3 again. The fight sequences are excellent so thumbs up to the fight choreographer however the cast make this film. Disney have this knack of buying the best suited and Shang-Chi is no different.
Be prepared to be highly entertained but a little patience wil be required to catch some of your Avengers.
