Better than Peter Rabbit 2 with both films good family fun
I was actually horrified by this and expect Beatrix to be turning in her grave to be honest. Yes it has a few funny moments but the fact they have taken the book, basically not actually read it and turned Peter into a completely different character is unforgivable. I might be old fashioned but I believe if you're basing a film on a book then it should be bade on the book and not rewritten to appease the box office. Disappointing.
This movie is an adaptation of Beatrix Potter’s classic – The Tale of Peter Rabbit. It shows the antics of a naughty rabbit who is hoping to lay siege on an old farmer’s garden.
The rabbits’ effort to really get their lead family’s cousin packing from their house was a really good try; however, he gave them a run for their money and this is probably the sweetest part of the movie.
This animation is limited, but Peter and his woodland buddies are really cute and their countryside was captured very well.
James Corden who stars as Peter Rabbit through voiceover did try too hard to be the best he can be, but his performance was solid. Some viewers might think he showed over-enthusiasm and that may not have connected well with them.
This movie is filled with several funny moments and the supporting characters are fun and they would always leave you with some really cute lines in the movie. Many adults would fall in love with this movie, but the kids would be delighted more now that the summer vacation is close.
