Preferred the originals and thought this wasn't worth trying to make again, they tried it but I doubt they'll be more of them, some films are best left alone. If you're thinking of watching this one and haven't seen the originals then I suggest you watch those first.
This reboot of the Mad Max series has taken over a decade to come and with Tom Hardy taking over from Mel Gibson as the leading character, I was not sure what to expect.
This is action film at its finest. We all expected chases throughout the film, but the chase we get are limitless, relentless, and exhilarating. Yet in the midst of these speeding machines the director, George Miller still had the time to add one part of his life he seems to be keen on- women, he adds them in an unpredictable way anyway.
This time around, Max is a lot madder, perhaps because of the victim’s voices he keeps hearing in his head or perhaps the theme of this instalment is madness mixed with violence.
As the lead character, Tom Hardy can take some credits for keeping this franchise alive with his debut performance.
