Lights, Camera, Christmas! is one of the better romantic comedies made by Hallmark. The story is familiar but a bit different than usual as normally it's someone starting a new job in an office and not a film set, so that's refreshing to begin with.
The film gathers pace quickly as we meet our main lady Kerry who has to step in as a costumer designer for a new romcom holiday film. As she starts her last minute role she quickly meets the star of the film, Brad and here we begin to see their chemistry slowly bubble although they don't see complete eye to eye at the beginning.
The main body of the film is very Hallmark and Lifestyle as fans of these types of films will expect however I feel Lights, Camera, Christmas! has just that little bit more comedy than they normally have, and you can feel the chemistry nicely with the two main actors, Kimberley Sustad as Kerry and John Brotherton as the handsome Brad.
Lights, Camera, Christmas! won't win any Oscars but you will be entertained and you will get that nice, feelgood factor that will set you up for the weekend.
There are maybe a few better romcoms from Hallmark, but there are a lot worse and I from those I have watched in the past, Lights, Camera, Christmas! is probably in my top 5%.
