I think this film was funny but I think it was a bit too much for me as people get shot in this and I don’t particularly enjoy people getting stabbed.
This film had a lot of people who are British and I do recognise some of them. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost we’re both funny in this film and actually they weren’t bad playing police officers in this film. Timothy Dalton was better in this film than what he was when he played James Bond. Jim Broadbent was good in this film as well.
I would recommend it for people aged 15 or above, I think it is all right for 14 year olds they can handle it and are watching it with an adult.
Hot Fuzz is an exciting action movie aimed at audiences aged 15 and above. This film features many aspects of both the action and comedy genres, shown through the police based storyline as well as the comical cast including Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. This film also contains some hilarious dialogue, as well as unpredictable shifts in the atmosphere as some scenes take a darker turn... Overall, I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend it to anyone and everyone, although this would most likely not suit anyone under the age of 15 due to shots including swearing and fighting, with some graphic images of blood shown. However, this is a great film to watch with friends or family at any event, such as Halloween, as this film is not too long (with a run time of 2 Hours) and therefore is enjoyable to watch!
This movie goes from a British parody to a much violent yet so funny movie. I like the combination and most especially the subtle nastiness that is comes with.
The movie was almost boring in the first half and as inpatient as I am I almost switched to another movie before I got won over in the second half. My brother thinks it wasn’t a comedy because of the mixture of action, thrill, and suspense, but I sure saw the funny side.
I thought it was full of really good jokes and comes with some elements of a slasher movie like Bad Boy 2. And the action-packed end to the movie was a little satisfying as it was exciting. It’s has some violence in it, but if you look closely even those parts were funny.
