Bruce's best movie in ten years hands down. He's the star of the film with Beau Mirchoff. A friend recommended it to me and I would recommend to others. Imagine Heat and Den of Thieves but with Halloween.
If you like criminals wearing halloween and wolf masks shooting everything they see then you will like it.
Starts off great although most bullets just hitting vehicles for effect. Bruce Willis says about 25 words and the ending was bad, could have been better but would say watch it.
I enjoyed this, and I'm hopeful those of you who loved Heat will like this. Detective Knight: Rogue does have a hint of Heat about it, certainly in the dialogue and also in the armed robberies.
Willis does say much and most of the conversations he's involved in are one word answers and quips. The armed gang are likeable in their own way and each has their own story which is developed only just enough for you to side with them slightly. They work for another criminal who you quickly learn is unlikeable with no scruples whatsoever. He makes a great bad guy.
As they investigate, they do find the culprits quite quickly but it's all about proof which they don't have so everything leads to a final robbery that doesn't happen but contains a twist between Knight and criminal Casey. The ending isn't fantastic like it should be but still highly watchable.
I understand Detective Knight: Rogue is part one of three films so it will be interesting to see how the others fare. Three stars seems high for this but I think it could quickly catch on amongst crime film fans, and I also feel some reviews may be a bit harsh.
