While this movie comes with a straightforward storyline, its predictability doesn’t help so much and perhaps takes out all the elements of surprise that would have kept you engaged.
Another thing you have to think about when watching this movie is whether this is the right time to release a revenge movie, as this is when gun violence is at an all time high in the United States. The main character (Bruce Willis) who is out to avenge the death of his family is filled with so much rage and sometimes his actions feels unjustifiable.
There are some unconnectedly funny scenes that you would feel have been added because the director does not have the most robust script to work with, and there is also some form of sluggishness in the action sequence.
This is not the best performance you would expect from Bruce Willis, but he does a good job of a man who is looking for vengeance over the assault on his family.
