I'm truly disappointed with Dead for a Dollar. I knew from the trailer that it was never going to be a classic but the whole thing, which could have been fantastic with improvements just comes across as a standard Western with actors that have underperformed.
The scenery is standard, with no one going out of their way to find anything spectacular and the script was simply a drawn out revenge story. The likes of
Christoph Waltz and Willem Dafoe may be familiar faces but they've not put much effort into this and it shows. Some actors when they've "made it" just go through the motions and I'm not suggesting they will in the future but they certainly did in Dead For A Dollar.
