Yes your children will laugh and smile, yes they'll have a great few hours at the cinema, and yes, if you have a partner who doesn't go with you and the children, they'll have a few hours of peace and quiet.
Apart from that this is yet another commercial swipe at your wallets. The script is standard with a plot so thin you could cut through paper with it. I would place a bet (if I were a betting person) that this comes as a template and a few writers just fill in the blanks with names and a little artwork. I'd also bet that these cuddly animals will be on the shelves in no time.
DC League of Superpets is simply just another film to grab some needed cash. There's nothing new with the story. The dialogue will get a few laughs but which animation doesn't? I found it very hard sitting through this, my movie notebook has the word "sigh" a few times and there are plenty of pen squiggles of plants, a sign that I've done this before and believe me, in the dark it's no mean feat to scribble a number of plants down.
For most it's released beginning of August but I'll be sending "him" and the children so I get some well earned peace from Superpets.
