A karaoke party in a renaissance village, admittedly with great singers. Cinderella's dream is to be famous and become a fashion designer (maybe pollution can be magicked away) to make dresses for the elite few. She gets all that, and marries the prince, too. This is the fairytale Ivanka Trump reads her daughter at night. The story may have been forward in the 80s, but no longer. Its 'yes-queen' attitude plus a sprinkling of diversity is supposed to turn this disaster into a reason for celebration.
Enough of the reruns ..
I wouldn’t make my daughter watch this
I thoroughly enjoyed this version. Yes, new versions will keep cropping up because that happens over time! Wonderful singing and full of bubbly life in this Cinderella. I would recommend anyone to watch it.
Would rather wear her dress for a week than watch this dribble again.
Very bad 🙁
Poorly made cheap knock-off that tries to fit as many diverse people as they can because it is now the 'right' thing to do.
Sign of the times with this latest and somewhat teeny adaptation. It doesn't do the Cinderella brand any favours and moves too far away from the actual original story.
