Christmas with the Kranks

This seems like a horror show. Christmas movies are rarely disappointing, but to say that this was a bad Christmas movie is to put it mildly. This movie is the worst Christmas movie that has ever been made and it could probably remain so for a long time because Christmas stories are easy to make movies out of them.

For its entire runtime, you could tell that this movie was trying to become a classic, but it just doesn’t have enough substance to make it even half way there.

The storyline makes no sense and the comedy seems dead on arrival. There are some commendable scenes, but those are really very far and in between.
