Not the best Chipmunk or any other kind of movie out there. At first I thought it was a movie for kids, but I gradually realized that it was way too much for kids and should be for teenagers.
I watched it with my8 years old daughter and thought because I was too old that was why I wasn’t patient enough to enjoy it, turns out my daughter also did not like it.
First the jokes get too much and you get bored. While you may enjoy the wreckages the chipmunks go about causing, at the end of the movie you’d feel they did too much of it and perhaps tried too hard to impress, I would not watch this again if I have the chance to so I would not recommend it to anyone.
Say what you like about them but these Chipmunks just seem to be adored by children. Whilst it will annoy most parents having to hear their squeaky voices for an hour and a half, Chipwrecked pits the animals against their wits when they accidentally leave a cruise ship and end up on a desert Island. Dave who "looks after" them also ends up on the Island with former Jet Records producer Ian and it culminates in a fun filled sequence of events that they wouldn't get in the City. Children will love it, parents will have to try and block it out. If you buy the DVD you'll need to be strict because if they play it again and again you'll soon be hitting a large bottle of gin to get the noises out of your head!
