First there was Wallace and Gromit and then came this movie from the AARDMAN team.
I really enjoyed watching this film and the whole thing was brilliant.
It is about a group of chickens who try to escape from a farm but it fails every time. However two farmers Mrs Tweedy (voiced by Miranda Richardson) and her husband Mr Tweedy both want to turn the chickens into pies so that they can be rich farmers. When an American rooster lands in the farm the chickens have their chance they are going to fly out of the farm to escape.
I think it would have taken the crew ages to build these characters.
There are quite a few cast members that I am aware of before including Miranda Richardson, Jane Horrocks and Imelda Staunton.
I heard that Chicken Run 2 is going to be made.
Overall it is a fantastic film and I recommend this a good family film. Well done AARDMAN team.
Beautifully detailed and a well written film based on chickens trying to escape being Sunday lunch. There are some great twists and turns on this one and children will love it. The characters are handy although there are plenty of them and bringing in Australian Mel Gibson as an American Cockerel adds to the final tension
