This is a brilliant and funny film from the Marvel team although I am not a huge fan of Marvel but I have watched the first Ant-Man film before.
However I have to argue that Black Panther was the best Marvel film but this one was good so it didn’t disappoint me.
I think some of the references from this film is from Captain America Civil War which I haven’t seen (probably its target audience is for people who seen that film and are also huge Marvel fans).
I like both the first Ant-Man and this one so I don’t have a favourite.
Overall it is an enjoyable Marvel film.
This film is the much needed to sequel to one of my favourite marvel movies. Paul Rudd brings the character to life and his connection with Abby Ryder Fortson is fantastic. Exploring the concept of quantum physics through the awesome special effects of this movie was brilliant! We see buildings and cars shrink and grow again, and we get an even better view of the Quantum Realm that had previously been seen in the first film. Although I have to argue that the first film was better than this one, I still believe this movie was essential in foreshadowing the events of the upcoming Avengers End Game movie with a very...interesting end-credit scene. Not to mention the refence to Avengers Infinity War and Captain America Civil War. This film connects them all. Highly recommend watching the others first.
As a huge fan of the first Ant-Man film, I loved this. I found this was an action-packed and comical addition to MARVEL's cinematic universe featuring a hilarious cast and intriguing plot line. Ant-Man and the Wasp is also an impowering film for female fans as it is the first MARVEL film with a female superhero's name in the tile. Additionally, Evangeline Lily and Paul Rudd make the film exciting and the characters loveable. This film also includes elements of slap-stick comedy as well as puns and hilarious comments made by the character of Luis throughout the film. However, this is mainly aimed at those who have previously watched other MARVEL films such as Captain America: Civil War and Ant-Man as it includes references towards them. Overall, I would recommend this film to anyone as it is a great one to watch with either friends or family (as long as you're willing to sit through 10 minutes of credits for a bonus 30 second end credit scene at the end)!
This highly action packed and hilarious feature, is yet another example of the cinematic streak MARVEL studios is consistently outputting. Paul Rudd reprises his role of the ex-convict turned superhero and displays, whilst narrow and two dimentional, an effective and likeable perfromance - Providing laughs scattered along the screen time. In terms of visual experience, you can't really go wrong with this movie. Utilising incredibly clever and amusing effects to create great slapstick comedy and invigorating action. It also has the inclusion of a nice topping of emotional, heart-touching dynamics to make this feature a fun experience for the family and friends. If you're looking for fun, action and comedy, this is the epitome of just that.
