A must watch!!
Brilliant film.
This movie is based on a book by Jonathan Ames and produced by Lynne Ramsay.
One thing that Ramsay does so often and so well is telling sober stories on troubled past without using too much dialogue. With a movie that would remind you of the also recently released ‘A Quiet Place’, she does a great job of producing a very intense movie that would keep you glued to the edge of your seat for the whole duration of the movie.
This movie would leave you fearful and suffocated and also has the ability of making you the protagonist as you would live the horror on show rather than just being a spectator. As you watch, you would be so afraid to make any sound nor breathe freely as you’d think you might be the killer’s next victim.
The main character, Joe (Joaquin Phoenix) is really a great actor and does a good job of being a man who kills for fun and takes care of his mother at the same time. This is a must watch.
