This movie has become one movie that I and my family want to see in almost every other holiday that comes around. Tim Burton has never been my favourite movie makers and that’s because I have my fair share of his movies that I don’t like, however, I think he gets it right with this movie, particularly the music, great choice it is.
I love the end that shows Jack doesn’t end up a failure. With so many hurdles that he had to go through, this movie shows just how much pressure there is to succeed without necessarily having so many options about how to get back on your feet after a setback.
As a religious person, the religious tone and holiday theme also made a good impression for me even though I know some non-religious people would be less impressed. This movie is worth watching.
