If you haven't streamed already and love the history of music then stick this on tonight. It's very revealing and you hear from those closest to the American Pie song production.
I would have asked why they let Madonna ruin a version of it.

Decent doc but nothing much that we already know about the song and I swear I've read McLean talk about all this in the past.
If you're into music then 'The Day the Music Died' will really interest you.
Thoroughly riveting and interesting. I've never actually liked the song but the story does make the American Pie song huge.
