Will always be the real Superman. God bless you Christopher Reeve
This is truly not the best super hero film that has ever been made, however, we have to consider the fact that this movie is 40 years old now, and at the time it came out, I can boldly say that it was the best super hero movie with some groundbreaking inventions.
I am still impressed by the special effects and I can only imagine how wowed those who saw it when it first came out would have been. Richard Dooner did a great job, the actors were impressive, and the soundtrack is very sweet to listen to.
If I could change anything about this movie, it would be the length as I don’t enjoy movies being more than a few minutes past an hour except they are really thrilling.
The original and the best. In a ways it's a shame we have to have reboots. I know that due to new tech and cgi we can get better at most things but some films should be left alone and this is one of them. It's a great film that develops Clark Kent and Superman really well and also gives us clues as to Superman 2. Back then the action was a great watch and it still amazes me today, maybe showing my age? I'm not sure. But if you have only seen the new Superman films then you have to watch this one too as I'm sure it will be your favourite of the lot like it is mine.
