Shocking attempt at a re-boot, surprised Gary Oldman took part.
This remake of the original1987 Robocop is perhaps the less appealing and I could be trying to be nice there.
If you are going to remake a movie that is 27 years old, you sure need to do a great job, but the directors of this movie made a mess of this project. Perhaps they wanted to appeal to a more younger audience than in the previous installment and they messed everything up.
One thing that is very obvious in this installment is that the actions are so watered down, and that is combined with some really terrible acting. The original movie had almost the perfect blend of dark humor and gore, but this installment came nowhere close to having any of that.
If I had known, I would have avoided this movie like a plague and stick to the original instead.
