Poseidon

If you have watched the original, don’t expect much here and I’d still understand if you are left disappointed after seeing this one. That being said, this is not the most unwatchable movie out there even if I do consider the acting to be below-par.

There were quite a number of impressive stunts and the scenes were engaging, while the two leading actors also gave a good account of themselves. However, the biggest problem I see in this movie is a pure lack of depth.

I think the movie makers thought that with enough stunts and special effects, everyone who watches the movie would be impressed. Still manageable though.
