Will always be my no. 1 War film, yes, even with Saving Private Ryan and Apocalypse Now.
This is one of the rare movies that is written and acted based closely to a firsthand experience of the story teller.
This movie has chills to it in the beginning as well a non-challant nature that gets you hooked quickly as it begins.
The choice of making it documentary-like by the makers was also a good decision as it would make you feel as if you are part of what’s happening inside the movie.
Psychologically, it would mess with your mind through the choice of musical soundtrack especially used when those moments of greater intensity.
It also had a village scene that tells some really important stories about how much powers soldiers get in these places and how they can easily abuse it.
Tom Berenger and Willem Dafoe also impressed me greatly with their characters. Overall this is an awesome movie to watch.
