This a good musical as well as a good rom com.
Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) is getting married and she tries to find her dad before the big day but she is not sure who it is. She reads her mother's diary and she is aware that she was in a relationship with 3 men. So she invites all 3 of them and she tries to keep them as a secret but it doesn't last long.
It has a good soundtrack with songs that were originally performed by ABBA.
Overall I enjoyed watching this film.
Mamma Mia is a rom com mixed with the timeless tunes of ABBA, not forgetting the stunning views of the Greek island where filmed.
A young woman getting married to her ‘Adonis‘ boyfriend she wants her father there to give her away; however her father could be one of three.
All three attend and so the storyline unfolds.
A mixture of laughter and tears. Meryl Streep singing the ‘Winner takes it all’ makes me cry everytime! A stunning performance.
I am eagerly awaiting the second Mamma Mia out today. I hope it lives up to its predecessor!
