Maybe not my favorite horror movie of the year but Jikirag has all the elements to entertain you for the night. There are eerily odd moments of horror and the village which has been pagan since birth had the feel of somewhere Resident Evil would create if they did something based in like the 1800's.
Jikirag is more like weird horror than making you jump out of your skin but you do get them as well along with good eery music to get your pulses pumping. The Black Phone horror movie is still my favorite of the year so far and plenty of time left for something better.
