Great remake, and I don’t say that often. With a slight twist on the Women characters, it actually gives a different vibe to the film. It has funny and jumpy moments.. one for all the family
You can say what you want about this reboot of Ghostbusters, I enjoyed this film despite not being a Ghostbusters fan. It was a little creepy at times but it was still a funny film to watch.
I know that the main characters in the original Ghostbusters were men and the receptionist was a woman and some were in this film, but in this film it is the opposite as the Ghostbusters are women and the receptionist was a man.
Although not seeing the original Ghostbusters, I love this one as it shows that women can actually take over and can actually be the heroes instead of men (which happens more often).
The women in this film were all funny. Melissa McCarthy was my favourite out of the four. She normally plays women who are larger than life. I think she was better in this film than The Boss.
I wouldn’t recommend this film if you are a Ghostbusters fan but if you are (like me) than I suggest you give it a try.
