American psycho seemlessly blends horror and humour, Christian Bale carries the film in a psychotic performance. This film is highly enjoyable to watch bringing our own catharsis, even if it doesn't bring itself catharsis. All who enjoy horror,thrillers or black comedys should enjoy this pleasant mixture, even if the purpose of the film is unclear it brings up many interesting questions that are perhaps more relevant than ever!
This is one of those movies that you can watch in several decades from now and it would still have a fresh outlook, it never runs out of fashion. I commend both the actors and the producers who have taken their time to bring out a slasher movie that is well worth watching.
One bad thing about this movie is that you will always want more as soon as it is over, and that goes to show just how well-made it is. Christian Bale was amazing here, and the creepiness of the entire movie made it quite enjoyable for me and I think you would want to see it for yourself too.
