Better than the "experts" at RottenTomatoes (RottenShits) suggest.
Paradise Highway was a decent chase type thriller. I never saw that ending coming. Hard to stomach that this sort of thing still goes on in the World. This is worth a watch guys and gals.
Paradise Highway was an enjoyably tense rollercoaster of a film that has you half on edge and half hoping the "package" will end up safe.
Anna Gutto has directed this very well and is reminiscent of the way Better Call Saul is filmed with wide spaces and just the characters required for each scene. My only nitpick would be the background music on certain scenes which isn't required.
Morgan Freeman does what he does but Monaghan steals the show as the troubled truck driver. Frank Grillo, it has to be said, seems to be getting better and better with age almost like a fine wine.
I'm certain most will enjoy this thriller from start to finish.
