The Evening Hour (2021)

A long, and slow film in parts but does stay true to the novel. A nice watch if you keep going.

I found it long and tedious but oddly watchable and it sort of pulled me in to watch to the end. Would recommend.

Not as good as the book obviously but gets as close to it as possible. A few miscast characters but that's more up to us and our memories of the novel. The Evening Hour is certainly watchable if you have not read the book and the acting cannot be criticised.
