Spider-Man: Homecoming, directed by Jon Watts and released in 2017, is a refreshing and exhilarating addition to the Spider-Man franchise. With its perfect blend of humor, heart, and high-flying action, the film captures the essence of the beloved web-slinging superhero, delivering an entertaining and engaging experience for audiences of all ages.

In this iteration of Spider-Man, we follow a younger Peter Parker, portrayed with infectious charm and enthusiasm by Tom Holland. Peter is navigating the challenges of high school while secretly moonlighting as the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man under the watchful eye of his mentor, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.). When a new villain, Vulture (Michael Keaton), emerges, Peter must prove himself as a hero and confront the dangers that threaten his city.

Tom Holland shines as Peter Parker, capturing the character's youthful spirit, wit, and earnestness. He brings a genuine sense of innocence and vulnerability to the role, making Peter relatable and endearing. The film benefits from a talented supporting cast, with standout performances from Michael Keaton as the menacing Vulture and Zendaya as Peter's witty classmate, Michelle.

Spider-Man: Homecoming successfully balances its superhero elements with a coming-of-age story. The film captures the challenges and joys of being a teenager, exploring Peter's struggles to balance his dual identities and the desire to prove himself worthy of being a hero. This approach provides depth to the character and offers a fresh perspective on the Spider-Man mythology.

The film's screenplay, written by Jonathan Goldstein, John Francis Daley, and others, skillfully blends humor and heart. The dialogue is sharp, witty, and filled with clever references that will delight both casual viewers and die-hard Spider-Man fans. Jon Watts's direction brings a vibrant energy to the film, capturing the exhilarating web-swinging sequences and grounding the story in a relatable and authentic world.

Spider-Man: Homecoming features thrilling action set pieces that showcase Spider-Man's agility, strength, and clever web-slinging abilities. The visual effects are impressive, seamlessly blending practical stunts with CGI to create dynamic and exciting action sequences. The film's score, composed by Michael Giacchino, complements the action with a modern and energetic soundtrack.

While Spider-Man: Homecoming may not offer the grand scale of some other superhero films, it excels in its focus on character development, humor, and relatable storytelling. It successfully reintroduces Spider-Man to the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a fresh and youthful take, capturing the essence of the iconic hero while carving its own path.

In summary, Spider-Man: Homecoming is a delightful and entertaining superhero film that captures the spirit of the friendly neighborhood web-slinger. With its charismatic cast, well-crafted humor, and exhilarating action, the film provides a refreshing take on the beloved character. Whether you're a longtime fan or new to the world of Spider-Man, this film offers an enjoyable and exciting cinematic experience.

Spider-Man Homecoming is one of the best Marvel films I’ve seen. I wasn’t into Marvel movies until I saw Black Panther and now I have got used to the Marvel franchise and Spider-Man certainly didn’t disappoint and was it was an enjoyable film that anyone can watch.

Tom Holland was brilliant playing Spider-Man in this film and I think he is one of the youngest Avengers around, some Avengers are 40 plus such as Black Panther and Ant-Man. I thought that Tom Holland was awesome in this film as well.

However there is still some Marvel you need to watch such as Captain America Civil War as it appears that Spider-Man first debut was in that film and possibly Iron Man as well as he is in this film.

Despite that I enjoyed watching this film and I think it is a brilliant film for anyone mainly who are huge Marvel fans or people who love Spider-Man.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is, in my opinion, the best version from the Spiderman films. Tom Holland plays the perfect Peter Parker due to his younger age and kind character.

The film is different to the original two versions because it doesn't show the storyline of him becoming the Spider-Man. I found that this was a good idea because many people already know this story due to the previous films.

This film is set after Civil War and begins showing Spider-Man in the middle of the fight in Germany as he documents it. The plot line is about how Peter Parker accepted the Stark internship and attempts to help Tony Stark and to become a more recognised and appreciated superhero. Despite Peter's attempt at doing this, Stark is against it as he wants to protect him and would much prefer him to be the 'friendly neighborhood Spider-Man' that he is.

In "Spider-Man: Homecoming" Spider-Man battles the Vulture who is attempting to steal The Avengers' and SHIELD's weapons. However, near the end of the film, Spider-Man discovers the truth to who the Vulture is and how it affects him.

The only flaw within this film is that Peter is only at Homecoming for several minutes before he leaves to fight the Vulture.

This film is hilarious and there are many jokes which make this film likeable to all. "Spider-Man: Homecoming" portrays the perfect reality or nerdy Peter Parker and how he struggles with school life and keeping his secret identity, whilst trying to win over the girl of his dreams.

Many famous actors are in the film such as Zendaya, Robert Downey Jr and Tom Holland himself. The actors who play students look teh correct age which I found was an issue with the previous Spiderman's.

This film is thrilling with a plot twist that was needed! It is possibly one of the best Marvel films with the most lovable characters and I can't wait for the sewual to be released in 2019!

Spider-man: Homecoming is one of my favourite films due to the dramatic plot line, lovable characters and hilarious scenes. Although there have been different adaptions of the classic character of Spiderman such as those played by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, Tom Holland's reboot of the character is by far the best due to his young looking age and acting style which fit the original description of the character as he plays it in an extraordinary way.

Spider-Man Homecoming is both exciting and thrilling and I would strongly recommend for anyone to watch, whether it be with family or friends. Additionally, due to the amount of scenes set at school, teenage viewers are able to connect with the characters and feel more associated with them unlike other superhero films. This film stands out above others (and therefore I have rated it 5 stars) because of the comical and action-packed features mixed with the killer cast on Tom Holland, Robert Downey Jr and Michael Keaton to create a lovable and somewhat relatable superhero movie for anyone and everyone to enjoy!

We’ve seen various versions of Marvel’s spider-man across the years – each with varying levels of success and although they have a special place in my heart, I believe “Spider-Man: Homecoming” was the reboot that we actually needed.

Firstly, I think one of the greatest successes of this film is that it is integrated with the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe which I think has been a crux of both “Spider-Man” and “The Amazing Spider-Man.” They were separate entities despite Spider-Man being a Marvel fan favourite so felt disconnected but in “Spider-Man: Homecoming” immediate connection and link can be made from previous Marvel films (this Peter Parker established in the immensely popular “Captain America: Civil War.”) so makes it feel more important. Tony Stark’s Iron Man makes repeated appearances throughout the film and adds an interesting dynamic and an emotional focal point for Peter Parker.

The other, and perhaps most important, success of the film is Tom Holland. He injects such as youthful energy and he actually looks like he could still be in college unlike the more aged Andrew Garfield and Toby Maguire. That makes the concept of the film instantly more convincing alongside the interactions with his friends and even Flash the bully who has become more of an intellectual rival rather than a physical adversary. There are small changes that add to the authenticity of the film: Peter scrambling down an alley, changing into his Spidey outfit, lifting his mask up halfway to talk to people on the phone. These are all small things that build up to creating a more convincing character. Tom Holland completely excels in the role and is compelling in emotional scenes and has such a friendly and goofy personality that is instantly likeable.

The stunts and visual effects are stunning with Michael Keaton providing a very chilling performance of “The Vulture.” It all feels fresh and rejuvenated and upbeat, enhanced by the performance of hilarious Ned (Peter Parker’s best friend) and MJ – played respectively by Jacob Batalon and Zendaya. There is a good balance of more serious, darker moments but these were somewhat spoiled by the extensive trailers. There was too much of the content, of pivotal moments, released in the trailers which took away some of the emotion and expectation from the film but that is obviously easily avoidable if you haven’t seen the film before.

Overall, I think “Spider-Man: Homecoming” was a raging success that finally plants and incorporates Spider-Man well and truly in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Where do I even begin?! As a massive fan of marvel myself, and an even bigger fan of Spiderman, this movie has exceeded all expectations! With Tom Holland as Peter Parker, no one could have done such a brilliant character justice like he did. I have never seen the hero portrayed with such innocence and realism. I highly recommend watching this movie after it had me on the edge of my seat the entire time.

After seeing Tom Holland as Spiderman in civil war, I couldn’t wait to see more. It wasn’t just Peter that was played so well, ‘the vulture’ (Michael Keaton) is a unique and interesting character that made the movie even better and I was hyped to see Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) develop such a close relationship with Peter.

Tom Holland was able to bring a sense of youth to Spiderman that I have never seen; helping me to connect more with the character and understand what he is going through. Massive respect for marvel for creating yet another fantastic movie!

Great film and great action sequences so don't let the movie poster which features just about every cast and extra from it on there! This takes us to when Spiderman is introduced to Ironman and the humor of Tony Stark is at its best as well some superb action set pieces between the two of them.
