Never a fan of reboots and this version seems to be mostly about its director. If you've seen the original then this version is best left alone
This movie is a remake from the 1933 classic (which I haven't seen). This version however was interesting and it was also powerful.
While filming a new film in Skull Island, a film producer and his crew, are trying to capture a giant ape who has snatched the actress,who is playing one of the characters in the film.
However one thing I have to complain is the movie is too long, it is two movies all in one movie.
The Simpsons version is funny, but this one is serious.
I think everyone should give this film a try but it is not worth getting the DVD unless you are willing to sit through 3 hours of the film.
